While I have been closely watching the Whoopi and Rogan controversies I have had blinders on. I took them off yesterday to find out that the RNC described Jan. 6th as  “ordinary citizens engaged in legitimate political discourse.”  This is the kinda shiznit that provides the backstory for movies like the Purge or A Hand Maiden’s Tale.
