” He’s not smart, or articulate.” Those were the words of one of the top Amazon lawyers, in reference to Chris Smalls, a young Black man and former Amazon warehouse employee.

Mr. Smith led a walkout during the pandemic in 2020 to protest and bring further attention to the working conditions. Those ignorant words lit a fire within Chris and from there he almost single-handedly created a grassroots movement to unionize Amazon workers against millions of dollars and all odds. And he won!  Salute, Chris Smalls and the Amazon workers in Staten Island.
