I want to give major props and congratz to Kofi Obuobi, an artist and activist with a background in product design.

During the 1880’s, in the days of colonization of the African continent, Europeans ransacked Africa,

stealing and hoarding Her priceless cultural treasures. African masks were some of those treasures.

Now many of these masks sit in private collections around the world and can only be seen  by those with money and access to them.

Kofi decided to recreate many of them as NFTs and tell their stories to the world.
